A few days after our marriage anniversary, we finally get an oppertunity to take our pre-wedding pictures. In the original plan, the photo session is consist of two parts. One start at 8AM in the morning and another start at 5PM in the afternoon. Due to the heavy rain in the earily morning, the whole plan delayed. Luckily big sum came out in the noon so we are still able to make it. We went to Botanic Garden, Changji beach and orchard road. Orchard road was not in the original plan, but duo to the slow warm-up, we have to extend the work a little bit so that we would have enough photos to choose. The night shot in Orchard road was out of my expectation and became my favorate part. Photos will come out soon.

借着拍照的机会购置了几件衣衫，正巧也赶上了新加坡的夏季打折月。去年买到了一双很喜欢的鞋子，却忘记了店名。后来去武吉士找了多次也没找到。这次才发现是乌节路的邵氏百货。熟悉新加坡的人必然知道这两个地方差的不是一般的远，但我偏偏记混了一年。一双新鞋和几件T-Shirt收进了衣橱中。在乌节路上最推崇的不仅仅是购物，邵氏的旁边有一家两层的音像店是我每次经过都一定要逛逛的。它有华丽的装修，有一流的音响设备，更有红底的内墙和烫金的唱片架。更难得的是它古典跨界的定位。在如此喧攘的街上，听到一些精心修饰过的声音——或是巴洛克，或是古典浪漫，那真是让人身整个心都舒爽极了。
这次店里正好放一张叫《Pachelbel’s Greatest Hit: The Ultimate Canon》的专辑，BMG在2005年纪念Pachelbel逝世350周年的大作。收录精选了15首各式版本的卡农作品，包括1940年Arthur Fiedler指挥的最早录音版，以及日本尺八和十三弦古筝版，Cleo Laine的福音版等等。强烈推荐这张专辑。其中人声版的名字叫《How, Where, When》。不知道编曲者的想法如何，但这真的符合了我听卡农的心境。听着听着，“何故”，“何地”，“何时”都变得模糊了，心情也变得自由起来。

这个周末在Explanade露天剧场，陈环和她的朋友们带来了2个小时的音乐和沙画表演。沙画可以让观众分享到艺术家的创作过程，又能把视觉艺术和音乐结合在一起，表现出情感的跌宕起伏。陈环来自四川成都，九岁开始作曲，擅长各种绘画，雕塑，多媒体视觉艺术，自己也是一名歌手。练习沙画才不过一年时间。
或许她的沙画还不够炉火纯青，但必须指出的是，她在大学的专业竟然是Quantitative Finance，并且以First Honor毕业。这是一个懂得拉普拉斯变换的艺术家。

楼下的小弟是吉他迷，楼上的小弟每天练习小提琴。新搬来的住户人还未见但一架电钢已经放在了客厅。引得我也总想弄件乐器来陶冶一下心情。于是在ebay淘到一个好东西——爱尔兰锡哨（Tin Whistle)。以前听过一张叫做爱尔兰画眉的专辑，其中的音乐就是用锡哨演奏的。Feadóg是爱尔兰本地的老牌子，工艺用料都十分考究。一只D调的锡哨加学习手册和CD只要10英镑。比从家里搬琴过来要省事太多了。
下面这首歌叫《Simple Gifts》，在youtube上找到的，虽然是一首简单的入门曲，但是凯尔特风已经扑面而来。这首曲子曾经被爱尔兰舞王Michael Flatley 改编在舞剧《Lord of the Dance》里面。不过这个版本要更平静得多。
